New from Arinfotek, the Teak 3011 is a high performance fanless network security appliance for entry-level applications. The device is based on a low-power-consumption (2.4W) AMD LX-800 CPU with north bridge, AMD CS5536 south bridge and Intel 82551ER LAN Fast Ethernet chipset. Even though the product is designed for entry-level market, the design concept is based on enterprise network performance and quality.

It has fanless low power consumption and reliable performance that meets trusted network security appliance requirements.

This system also offers two storage choices: a 2.5in slim hard drive and type II CompactFlash slot.

The system memory comprises 128Mbyte (up to 512Mbyte) DDR RAM.

For easy management and diagnostics purposes, there are four autosensing 10/100 Fast Ethernet RJ45 ports, two LAN ports with bypass function to keep the network continuously working even when the appliance malfunctions, and a 9-pin RS232 serial port for system management.

The Teak 3011 has a PCI slot for extension or crypto function reinforcement, offering a highly reliable and fully integrated function in the small rack-mounted appliance platform.
