The MCP614X family of operational amplifiers feature a gain bandwidth product of 100kHz, an ultra-low typical quiescent current of 600nA and a maximum quiescent current of 1uA

With a typical power consumption of less than 1mW at quiescent state with 1.4V supply, these high-performance op amps are a cost-effective way to improve performance and significantly increase the operational life of high-performance battery-powered systems. The MCP6141, MCP6142, MCP6143 and MCP6144 op amps offer rail-to-rail input and output that allows the full voltage supply range to be used from 5.5 down to 1.4V supply operation.

The low voltage operation reduces the need for doubler circuitry and the low quiescent current further reduces demand on the battery.

Fully specified from -40 to +85C, the devices are stable for applications with a gain of 10 (V/V) or better, such as sensors, portable instrumentation, and RFID tags, and devices powered by a single communication loop such as phones, security, and building safety devices.

The devices are available in 8-pin PDIP, SOIC, and MSOP packages and 14-pin PDIP, SOIC and TSSOP packages.

The MCP614X family is supported by Microchip's FilterLab active filter design tool.

Available free from Microchip's website, FilterLab provides full schematic diagrams of the filter circuit with component values and frequency response.
