Eurotech has introduced the Aludra, an Intel Atom-based high-performance, low power, fanless single-board computer.

The Aludra is ideal for applications within the energy, medical, transportation and industrial automation industries.

The Aludra provides all the benefits of the Intel Atom architecture in a 5.25in (133.3mm) form factor.

Using the Intel N270 1.6GHz processor the Aludra delivers full Intel x86 compatibility, with exceptional performance per Watt.

The Aludra offers high-resolution graphics, extensive onboard connectivity, PC/104, PC/104+ and PCIe expandability for 3G and Wi-Fi.

It is compatible with all major desktop operating systems and is available with pre-installed ready-to-run embedded operating systems, including Windows XP Embedded and Fedora Linux.

The Aludra is a suitable high-performance, low-cost solution for digital signage, kiosks, HMI, process and machine-control applications.

As a starting point, Eurotech can offer an Aludra Development Kit, which provides everything required to quickly start application developments.

The development kit includes the Aludra processor board with operating system, LCD display, power supply, associated cables and an easy-to-follow CD-ROM containing all documentation and technical information.

Purchasing a development kit also registers the user for technical support from Eurotech.
