Acqiris has introduced a range of class-compliant Interchangeable Virtual Instrument (IVI) drivers that support the company's full range of digitisers
AcqirisMAQS provides a software solution that eliminates the need for additional software development.
By combining a number of elements and functionalities developed around Acqiris' advanced software tools into one application, AcqirisMAQS presents a powerful tool for organised setup, control, and acquisition from any number of digitiser channels.
Users interactively manage complex experiments through a familiar Window-based environment; creating new configurations, updating existing ones, visualising any combination of signals by using simple drag-and-drop techniques, and auto-storing or analysing acquired data by exporting the data into other software applications.

Acquisition system has scope for PC interface
Compact, high-speed multichannel data acquisition system delivers essential oscilloscope capabilities that can easily be combined with a desktop or laptop PC
A remote control interface is integrated into AcqirisMAQS to allow client-server control and monitoring of data acquisition systems from multiple locations simultaneously, and to access test systems located at dispersed sites.
With AcqirisMAQS, any PC or laptop can be set up as a client to control multiple digitiser channels connected to an instrument server, a PC or processor that contains, or communicates directly with, one or more Acqiris digitiser modules.
Digitiser control is achieved via an Ethernet connection, simple crossover cable, or in any networked environment over the Ethernet.
Client machines can have either master control or combined master and monitoring rights on the server machine, allowing multiple clients to obtain data from the same digitiser systems simultaneously, while allowing one system-defined master client to change system parameters.
AcqirisMAQS, as a commercial software package, is the latest addition to the Acqiris software product line.
The line currently includes a remote control interface and a range of software tools for control and acquisition of Acqiris digitiser and analyser products under Windows, Linux, Phar Lap ETS, and Wind River VxWorks operating systems, including a complete set of drivers for LabWindows/CVI and LabView, C/C++ and Microsoft Visual Basic, and a software adapter for the Matlab Data Acquisition Toolbox.
Pricing for AcqirisMAQS starts at $1990 for a master only, single-user licence.
A demo version of the software is available at no charge.
