KT Venture Group, the investment partner of KLA-Tencor, is to invest in Aprio Technologies, the leading design for manufacturing software and technologies company.

KT Venture Group, the investment partner of KLA-Tencor, is to invest in Aprio Technologies, the leading design for manufacturing (DFM) software and technologies company. 'Aprio's solid product strategy and roadmap hold great promise to address the substantial challenges faced by semiconductor design and manufacturing companies in the years ahead'. 'Aprio's strategy dovetails very well with KLA-Tencor's view of the DFM market', said Robert Lee, General Partner at KT Venture Group.

'These facts formed the basis for our decision to invest in the company'.

Aprio will use the investment to accelerate the development of technology that bridges the design and manufacturing disciplines.
