Sales operations expand worldwide
AmmoCore Technology has signed an agreement with Seoul-based Kataros to distribute its Fabrix software in Korea.

AmmoCore Technology has signed an agreement with Seoul-based Kataros to distribute its Fabrix software in Korea. In addition, the company has added the position of a Technical Liaison for Japan as well as a US Sales Manager to oversee the sales team domestically. "Korea is rapidly becoming a significant region for us", stated Larry Yamada, AmmoCore's Vice President of Asia Sales and Marketing.
"We already are working with SC HighTech Corporation in Japan, and with the addition of Kataros we will be able to offer our customers local dedicated support in these important geographic areas".
The company has also named Steve Flanery as its Domestic Sales Manager.
Flanery comes to AmmoCore from Cadence Design Systems, where he was District Sales Manager for the company's southwest region.
Flanery's district was the top region for all of Cadence in 2003.
Prior to Cadence, Flanery was Western Region Sales Manager for Chrysalis.
He has been in involved in EDA sales for almost 20 years.
In addition, because of the increased customer interest in the company's design implementation solutions in Japan, AmmoCore has also created the position of Technical Liaison to Japan.
Hiro Minami will manage all benchmarking activities with the Japanese customers, as well as provide pre-sales and post-sales technical guidance to ensure that customers make full use of Fabrix to maximise their design results.
Prior to joining AmmoCore, Minami was Director of Asia Business Development for InTime Software.
Before InTime he was with Cadence Design Systems as a Sales Technical Leader.
