The Editors of Automotive Engineering International (AEI) presented Ansoft with an AEI Tech 2004 Award at the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) World Congress last month. AEI Editors, who give the award annually to top new products and technologies at the show, recognised Ansoft's ePhysics, coupled thermal and stress analysis software for use with Maxwell 3D and HFSS.

The combined solution of ePhysics with Maxwell and HFSS is quickly becoming an integral design tool for such components as electric machines, transformers, IC packaging, antennas and more.
