Anritsu has appointed Paul Hunter to the position of General Manager of its European Measurement Division (EMD)

Hunter has worked in Canada, the UK, France, Germany and the USA for companies such as Nortel Networks, Marconi, Mobile Systems International and Tertio. He has a degree from Warwick University, England and a Masters of Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, Canada. The European arm of Anritsu's Measurement Division, located in Stevenage and Luton, England, employs over 120 people.

It is responsible for developing and producing hardware and software for measurement and testing of leading-edge communications technologies that are being developed in Europe, including Bluetooth, and W-CDMA for third-generation mobile systems.

Anritsu employs over 350 people in all of its European operations, which include systems support, marketing, sales and after-sales support.

Hunter commented, "I am very excited about joining Anritsu.
