Anglia has signed a UK and Ireland distribution agreement with Diodes Incorporated, a manufacturer of discrete semiconductor devices based in Westlake Village, California

The Diodes product range includes small signal and Schottky barrier diodes and rectifiers and standard, fast, ultrafast and superfast rectifiers, Zener diodes, small signal bipolar transistors, Darlington transistors and MOSFETs, along with ESD protection devices and high-density diode and transistor arrays in ultra-miniature surface mount packages.

Diodes also recently acquired the Taiwanese fabless semiconductor manufacturer Anachip, which specialises in power management ICs.

Commented Simon Barber, Regional Sales Manager for Diodes: 'We look for a very high level of technical support from our distributors, and we are confident that Anglia can provide us with the necessary resources to give us increased visibility and grow our level of design wins in the UK market'.

Added Lee Nye, Anglia's Marketing Director: 'Diodes has a strong range of discrete and analogue semiconductors that complements our existing franchises and helps us to provide a balanced range of product options to our customers'.
