Anglia has signed an exclusive UK and Ireland distribution agreement with power semiconductor market leader Power Integrations. This is its third new semiconductor franchise in recent weeks, following on from deals with Lattice Semiconductor and with Quantum Research. Anglia will distribute Power Integrations' full range of power conversion ICs.
The company's state-of-the-art technology enables compact, energy-efficient power supplies in a wide range of electronic products, in both AC/DC and DC/DC applications.
Power Integrations' award-winning EcoSmart energy-efficiency technology dramatically reduces energy waste in end-user applications.
Commenting on the deal, Anglia's Power Products Manager, Martin Brown, said: 'Power Integrations' product range is highly complementary to our existing power semiconductor lines, and adding this franchise to our line-up is the latest step in our strategy to offer our customers a balanced portfolio of products from a range of world-class manufacturers'.
Chris Muir, Power Integrations' Regional Sales Manager for Northern Europe, added: 'Anglia has impressed us with the high level of technical support it offers to its customers to help them in designing their products, and with their strategy of offering complementary product lines rather than a very broad range of competing products'.
'They are noted for providing a high level of service and commitment to their small to medium enterprise and electronics manufacturing services customers'.
