September 2002 marks the 30th anniversary of electronic component distributor Anglia.
The Wisbech based company is still headed by founder Bill Ingram who started business in the front room of his house selling spares for TV and audio repair workshops in 1972.
Anglia now employs over 200 people and has an annual turnover of approximately GBP 35 million.
The company has built up a product portfolio that shows a diverse range of components to meet the needs of most electronics products.
Anglia has been careful to select suppliers that have a proven track record of quality, reliability and that have a sound technology roadmap.
Carefully selected products and suppliers coupled with Anglia's ability to provide design-in support, advanced logistics and supply from stock has provided the foundation for the company's long-term success.
Recently, Anglia has further strengthened the technical expertise within its organisation and added Anglia Solutions - a design through to manufacturing service.
Commenting on 30 years in business Bill Ingram said: "The advances and progress made in Anglia's business over 30 years have been mirrored by remarkable progress and evolution in the electronics market as a whole.
However, one thing that hasn't changed is our philosophy of providing the best possible service to customers, I feel that this has been one of the key factors contributing to Anglia's success".

Anglia is marking its 30th anniversary with several events that will acknowledge the effort and support of employees and suppliers and their contribution to the overall success of the business.
