Aries Electronics has a new adapter that enables designers to replace a 132-pin PQFP package IC with the newer 144-pin TQFP with no need for board redesign or rework The top of the new Aries adapter reroutes the pinout of the 144-pin device, such as the Motorola DSP56002, to make it compatible with the 132-pin device footprint on the existing PC board
