Advance-Galatrek has a new range of transient voltage surge suppressors (TVSS), specifically intended for installation at mobile basestations. The devices are designed to absorb harmful transient energy arising from lightning strikes and other voltage surges which, if unchecked, can easily destroy sensitive telecommunications equipment, resulting in costly repairs and downtime. To counteract the damage that can be caused by these external transient voltage surges, Advance-Galatrek's StrikeSafe range of TVSS devices use a unique patent pending matrix technology.

This breakthrough configuration provides far better levels of transient protection than afforded by conventional devices, as well as allowing the TVSS to continue functioning in accordance with specification, even if a voltage surge causes damage to an individual component.
