Agere Systems has won the 'Best Partner' Award by Samsung Electronics for the fourth consecutive year. The award, presented during Samsung's recent Partners' Day, is one of the most prestigious and coveted honours given to Samsung's business partners. Samsung Electronics, which shipped a total of 118 million handsets in 2006, chose its best suppliers based on a range of criteria such as innovation, cost effectiveness, product quality and delivery, and customer support.
