Available now from Aegis Industrial Software, TestXcell is a comprehensive circuit assembly test solution that provides automated test equipment (ATE) programming, DFT analysis, fixture design output, and schematic viewing. TestXcell, derived from Digitaltest's C-Link, has a proven history and market acceptance with over 900 users worldwide. An OEM agreement between Digitaltest, Herbert Schmidt and Aegis allows Aegis to deliver an unrivalled best-in-class NPI suite, handling BOM and CAD import and compare, SMT line programming, documentation creation and now electrical test program generation.
With the addition of TestXcell to the Aegis NPI software suite, the circle of manufacturing information control is complete.
Manufacturing and test engineers can manage the entire test process from intelligent graphical design data input through net adaptability checking, component testability checking and full mechanical fixture design to the generation of tester input lists and circuit description files.
