Aerco offers connectors for aerospace applications

Aerco is offering the Harwin Datamate range of connectors for aerospace, military, industrial and oil and gas applications, and supplies them on small or no-minimum-order quantities.

Approved to British standard 9525-F0033, the range features Harwin's 'four-finger' beryllium copper contact technology that ensures integrity of connection under severe conditions, making them ideal for applications subject to high vibration and shock.

The Datamate range has been developed to meet the demands of cable-to-board and cable-to-cable applications.

The Datamate Mix-Tek affords engineers complete flexibility of design, with a modular concept that allows a mix of contacts, including signal, power up to 20A and coaxial up to 6GHz frequency in the same connector.

In addition, the Datamate BS range is 100-per-cent tested for safety critical applications, while the L-Tek and J-Tek series utilise latches and jackscrews for secure termination.

For savings on assembly time and process cost, the Datamate Trio-Tek uses an open barrel crimp contact that allows the crimp process to be automated.
