Punch down and earth strap for connector
The RJ-LnxxT IP67 rated, sealed, industrial RJ-45 connectors, available in the UK from Aerco, are now available with IDC punch down and earth strap terminations.
The knob provides tactile feedback to the operator even when used with gloves.
Using hall-effect technology the joystick provides an alternative to small potentiometer joysticks in a package measuring only 30mm in diameter.
The small size and weight make the 5000C an ideal solution where precision control is required and joystick displacement is preferred but a larger device is not practical.
It provides 20 joystick deflections in all directions.
The operating temperature range is -32C to +85C and sealing is IP67 above panel and IP55 below panel.
It has a product life of 20 million cycles, low power consumption and an EMI immunity that is superior to inductive joystick designs.
It suits applications in computer graphics cursor control, mapping systems, X-Y inspection tables, robotics, medical applications, security cameras, manned and unmanned flight control systems and all types of vehicle control from hoists and cranes to electric wheelchairs.
