Aerco's range of Binder connectors includes versions that are colour coded for simple and reliable identification to reduce the risk of mis-mating

Aerco has released Binder 16mm diameter, push-pull, waterproof, circular connectors that use a fitting method to provide a high level of connection integrity and include versions that are colour coded for simple and reliable identification to reduce the risk of mis-mating. The miniature 720 and sub-miniature 620 connectors have no screw fittings or push-pull collars as are used in conventional circular connectors but instead use a simple, snap-lock fitting method that provides an extremely convenient and safe connect and disconnect action.

Ideal for applications where quick system set up is required, even in outdoor environments where gloves have to be worn, these connectors are already used in data-logging, laboratory, instrumentation and industrial equipment.

The colour-coded 720 series is finding increasing application in the medical sector in equipment such as cardiograph recording units.

Waterproof to IP67, both the Binder 620 and 720 series are available in 3, 5, 8 and 12 way format and rated at 2 to 7A.

Product life is in excess of 500 mating cycles and the internal strain relief provides fast assembly without the need for special tooling.
