Low-speed fans keep
quiet on the desktop
Adda has introduced low-speed versions of many of its DC fans to cater for the growing need of the PC "silencing" market
DC fans in the 40 to 92mm frame size range are used to cool PCs but in the standard form these are too noisy for the comfort of most users and a slower fan would normally suffice in all except the most demanding of applications. The new low-speed versions from Adda, available exclusively in the UK from Aerco, make a real, practical difference to noise levels, the comfort of users and the life cycle of PCs.

Push-pull connectors cut costs
Low-cost push-pull connectors are ideal for applications such as test and measurement equipment, laboratory and analytical equipment and commercial and industrial applications
For instance, the low-speed version of the 40 x 40 x 20mm fan has an operating noise level of 23.9dB(A) compared with the 31.9dB(A) of the standard version while delivering 3.53 litre/s.
In the 80 x 80 x 25mm range the low speed version operates at only 15dB(A) compared with the 40dB(A) of some fans in the same frame size, and yet delivers 9.68 litre/s.
Adda DC fans are available with ball, sleeve or Hypro bearings and can be used as the cooling element in intelligent cooling systems.
