Greener protection for bayonets
A new zinc cobalt finish gives bayonet connectors a high level of environmental protection without the environmental complications of a more traditional cadmium finish
Aerco can now supply the popular ABB MS and ABCIR bayonet connectors with a zinc cobalt finish that retains the high levels of environmental protection and conductivity that a cadmium finish provides without the environmental complications. Apart from production difficulties and problems associated with disposing of cadmium plated products, the use of cadmium represents a health risk in the event of fire.
