Adapter takes a new angle on RJ45s
A new angled adapter places an RJ45 jack at an angle to the horizontal - so that even with thicker Cat6 cables the clearance height needed within a floor box is reduced to that needed for a 13A plug
Solving the risk of crushed work-area cords, floor-box lids that will not close fully and the potential for strained RJ45 jack contacts, a new angled adapter places the jack at an acute angle to the horizontal - so that even with thicker Cat6 cables the clearance height needed within a floor box is reduced to that needed for a 13A plug.
An addition to ADC Krone's enterprise structured cabling range, the angled adapter fits all industry standard LJ6C high density cut-outs and modular faceplates.
It accepts shielded and unshielded variants of ADC Krone Cat5e and Cat6 CL jacks.
As well as being used in floor boxes, the angled adapter can also be used in wall outlets where, thanks to its oblique angle, it provides a low-strain option for work area patch cords.
