FlexPro is a comprehensive software package for analysis and presentation of technical data and is used worldwide by thousands of measurement technology experts

Available now from Adept Scientific is version 7 of the FlexPro data processing and analysis software from Weisang. The most obvious new feature in FlexPro 7 is its redesigned user interface. Docked windows that can be displayed or hidden, as well as tabbed document windows make the interface very easy to view and present an excellent ergonomic design.

The new Properties window displays the properties of selected objects in a list.

Now it is no longer necessary to open dialogue boxes in order to edit several objects simultaneously.

But much has changed beneath the surface.

In addition to the extensive expansion of FlexPro's FPScript analysis language, FPScript can now also access all object properties in the FlexPro project database.

In previous versions, this was only possible using the built-in Visual Basic.

Using embedded FPScript expressions, data and other properties can be accessed for output in any text, such as axis or legend labels.

FlexPro's updated diagram wizard also uses FPScript for tasks such as converting data to decibels before presentation.

In addition, polar graphs and pie charts are now available.

The new nonlinear curve fitting analysis object allows you to fit mathematical models to given data.

The procedure returns the optimised model parameters as well as a variety of statistical results.

Users now have the option to choose from over 160 models as well as to program their own models in FPScript.

The data throughput of FlexPro's object database has been increased by using the most current caching and overlay technologies.

For users, this means faster calculations while using less memory.

Richard Weisang, Managing Director of Weisang, notes: 'FlexPro 7 is the most extensive update since FlexPro was introduced over ten years ago'.

'The variety of interfaces as well as the simple ease of use coupled with the highest performance make FlexPro the ideal product for technical experts, engineers, scientists and anyone who works with technical data'.

FlexPro is a comprehensive software package for analysis and presentation of technical data and is used worldwide by thousands of engineers, scientists and measurement technology experts in industry, research and education.

Large amounts of data can be imported into FlexPro's object database using a variety of binary formats.

In addition to a basic set of more than 200 analysis functions, special modules are available for spectral analysis, acoustics, counting procedures, order tracking analysis and statistics.

Weisang has released FlexPro 7 simultaneously in German and English.

FlexPro 7 is supplied and supported in the UK and Ireland by Adept Scientific. Request a free brochure from Adept Scientific....
