Advantest has received a purchase order from EEMS for multiple units of its Model T5585 high-speed memory test system. The order also includes Advantest's M6541AD memory handlers. The order is the result of a long-term partnership between Advantest and EEMS, one of the most advanced semiconductor assembly and testing factories in the world specifically dedicated to memory products.
Commenting on the decision to place their latest order with Advantest, Enzo D'Antonio, CEO and President of EEMS, said: We are adding more highly productive and performing test systems to our large Advantest equipment base.
I am very happy to say that our long standing partnership relation with Advantest continues to be instrumental to our success story in becoming the partner of choice when it comes to the outsourcing of memory products.
Test systems such as the Advantest T5585 coupled together with high parallelism M6541AD handlers is the best someone can reach in terms of testing of high speed DRAM memory at the lowest possible cost of ownership.
This is what our customers need and this is what EEMS and Advantest partnership is providing to them".
Tony Capitanio, Area sales manager Southern Europe for Advantest, congratulates EEMS on their decision to expand the already large existing base of Advantest test equipment already in place at its factory in Italy.
"With maximum test speeds of 500MHz, simultaneous testing of 128 devices and high timing accuracy, the T5585 fulfils all the requirements expected from today's sophisticated memory device testers.
By adding this state-of-the-art test system to its existing Advantest equipment - ranging from the T5371 Flash memory tester to the T5592 with its super-high test frequency of 1.066GHz - EEMS will continue to stay ahead of its competitors in the semiconductor market and be able to offer its customers the very best solutions".
