Teldix has selected Actel's Flash-based, single-chip ProASIC Plus FPGAs for use in common processor modules for the Eurofighter Typhoon.
Teldix, the European market leader in airborne data processing for tactical military aircraft and a top-eight supplier to the Eurofighter Typhoon weapon system, has selected Actel's Flash-based, single-chip ProASIC Plus field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) for use in common processor modules for the Eurofighter Typhoon, a swing-role combat aircraft co-developed by Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK Teldix's common processor module was especially developed for the Eurofighter Typhoon project for use in the attack computer, navigation computer and other flight-critical multiprocessing equipment
