Accellera has become a Corporate Member of the IEEE Standards Association.
Accellera has become a Corporate Member of the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) in order to take part in and shape the direction of technology and its marketplace application in the highly respected IEEE-SA standards development environment at a corporate level Membership in the IEEE-SA strengthens the connection Accellera has with the IEEE and fosters growth and evolution in Accellera's (and its predecessors, VI and OVI's) relationship with the IEEE, which began when VHDL first became an IEEE standard in 1987
