Acal Electronics has been appointed the exclusive distributor for the Schott Corporation throughout the UK and Ireland.
The appointment covers the entire range of high quality transformers, inductors and magnetic components, and broadens Acal's existing portfolio of magnetic and inductive products.
Established for over half a century, Schott Corporation has specialised in the design and manufacture of leading edge products for applications such as aerospace, telecommunications and medical industries.
Schott's products include transformers for ADSL, HDSL, T1/E1/J1 and T3/E3/J3; PFC chokes and the ultra-low loss helical winding technology (HWT) inductors with rated currents from 15 to 260A.

The Components Division of Acal has a portfolio of products from industry-leading passive and magnetic product manufactures.
