The EmCore-v611 is a 3.5in miniboard that is designed to meet the size, power consumption, temperature range and reliability demands of embedded system applications. The EmCore-v611 uses the super-cool Via Eden processor that can clock speeds from 400 to 800MHz. Operating at temperatures up to 60C, and consuming less than 9W of power, the EmCore-v611 has the lowest power consumption for any x86 processor at these performance levels.
The EmCore-v611 represents one of the smallest Pentium III fanless solutions on the market today.
The EmCore-v611 packs superior multimedia capability and high-performance network functions onto its compact 3.5in HDD format.
Included with the new release is a 4x AGP controller, Via's AC97 2.0 compliant audio chip, one TTL/LVDS interface, a high speed multi I/O and dual PCI Ethernet interfaces.
The SSD solution supports both a CompactFlash card and a DiskOnChip card.
And expansion cards can be added using the PC/104 connectors.
All these make the EmCore-v611 an ideal solution for GP systems, web phones, information terminals and other space-critical applications which require powerful functionality and system reliability.
The EmCore-v611 incorporates the high performance Via 8606T integrated Savage3 video accelerator.
The Via 8606T supports a 4x AGP VGA/LCD controller with 32Mbyte of shared memory.
With onboard TTL/LVDS interfaces, the system gives users more flexibility and offers a range of panel selections.
The EmCore-v611 supports 3D-sound, line-in, CD audio-in, mic-in, and speaker-out and complies with the AC97 2.0 standard by adopting a Via VT82C686B audio chipset.
The EmCore-v611 can be used as a Web appliance or as a stand-alone remote monitoring controller.
Arbor's new EmCore-v611, combining dual Intel 82559 or dual Realtek 8139C network controllers with fast computing power, is sure to meet the demands of any mission-critical network application.
