Advanced Layout Solutions (ALS) has recruited an additional PCB designer at its Reading office. Dave Cook, a qualified electronics engineer with an emphasis on RF layout, has joined ALS after working within the bureau market for the past 3 years gaining experience of the Cadence Allegro toolset. Nigel Barkus, Director of ALS, commented: 'Dave strengthens our design team with his RF skills and experience of the total PCB design flow'.

Barkus added: 'Since the introduction of our signal integrity service last year we have seen significant interest from our customer base as well as new business opportunities and Dave's introduction provides us with additional PCB design resources as well as specialist RF layout skills'.
