Entry-level SBC boasts rich functionality

The PFM-532I is a PC/104 STPC Elite CPU module providing low cost but rich functionality in an entry-level system.

Aaeon Technology has a full range of PC/104 CPU modules providing clients with various kinds of choices and to meet with their application needs. The PFM-532I is a PC/104 STPC Elite CPU module providing low cost but rich functionality in an entry-level system. The board features a 32bit 586 STPC Elite or Consumer II onboard which supports operation at up to 133MHz.

The board is fanless, and has 32Mbyte of SDRAM onboard that supports DOC and CFT.

It has ample opportunities for upgrades, allowing designers to further enhance their low-cost systems with higher performance.

The PFM-532I is rich in features: it supports 18bit TTL TFT and up to 24bit DSTN LCD, it also provides both multiple and digital I/O functions like two COM ports and eight programmable I/Os.

Effective and cost-saving computing performance comes with low power consumption and a wide operating temperature range.

Other features include a PC/104 connector and a 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet interface.

Measuring a mere 90 x 96mm, the PFM-532I promises a better solution for compact, fanless server appliances.
