We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "PWM control", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Electronicstalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.
Start with the news release White LED driver cuts down on flicker from Advanced Analogic Technologies, which we summarised at the time by saying "By driving up to 10 white LEDs in a serial string, the AAT1239-1 simplifies the use of larger LCD panels in a wide array of battery-powered portable devices". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Programmable LED driver removes need for binning from Maxim Integrated Products: "Because of its sophisticated programming capabilities, the MAX16816 overcomes many problems and design limitations in older generation LED drivers".
In December 2007, we covered the news from International Rectifier concerning its IP1206 - take a look at Power stage and controller come together which says: "The iP1206 is designed for two-phase single output applications up to 30A or dual independent outputs up to 15A".
Take a look also at the news release from National Semiconductor, LED driver offers power and efficiency, as well as Driver is bright choice for three-colour dimming from Allegro MicroSystems Europe, and Step-down controller claims widest input range from Intersil.
