Start with the news release Multistandard receiver adds Sirius Internet radio from Frontier Silicon, which we summarised at the time by saying "Consumer electronics manufacturers will be able to produce familiar tabletop radios, microsystems and clock radios that also have access to the Sirius commercial-free channels". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Pure design win is RF success from Future Waves: "Pure Digital has signed to use an RF CMOS device from Future Waves in its digital radio receivers".
